Disaster Recovery Plan

Hello,

We are looking to perform a Disaster Recovery procedure in our preprod environement.

All WPM components are installed on a single Windows 2012 server and its associated SQL Server database is hosted in a separate SQL Server cluster.

We will be taking a snapshot of Windows VM and DB export before DR, just in case. In order to initiate disaster, we are going to delete all contents in that Windows server and also delete its database completely.

Am I right in order to revert back our environment, we need to first import the contents in the backedup database into a new database and then when the new windows vm is ready, run the installer but connecting to this newly imported database? I assume all the configurations and settings are stored in the databse.

Thanks, Shiv.
