Request for Troubleshooting Steps when "Transaction Health Overview" displays "transactions are currently unknown"

Hi everybody,

 

Yesterday, I downloaded and installed without any problems whatsoever a trial version of the Synthetic End User Monitor.

 

I created a transaction on the server itself and also installed the Playback Player on a remote computer. I configured both to the transaction that I had created every 5 minutes and to report back to the server with their findings.

 

However, in the "Transaction" tab of Orion, I see that the status my transactions are currently "unknown". Here is a screenshot:

 

Now, here's the odd thing: the transactions are supposed to run every 5 minutes... but they don't appear to be running at all. Even if hit the "play now" button ... nothing happens and the screen goes back to the "never run" status... here's an example:

 

 

with this said ... does anybody have any idea how I can troubleshoot this?

 

Unfortunately for me, the "Troubleshooting and Diagnostics" section of the online help is not very helpful in this specific case.

 

Btw, I called support and they told me that because I was running an evaluation version, I couldn't call them directly and that the call had to be routed thru a sales rep... I was told I'd get a call back from one of them eventually...
